Battling Chronic Inflammation With Juicing

What up Vida Juicer! Thanks for watching today’s episode of  “Wellness Wednesday”.  We’ve got a great topic for you today Battling Chronic Inflammation With Juicing.

We are learning more and more that a wide variety of conditions are caused by underlying chronic inflammation. You probably already know some forms of inflammation, like arthritis. However, what you may not know is that digestive disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and even diabetes have all been linked to problems with chronic inflammation. In fact, some would argue that just about anything that goes wrong with your body could be linked to low-level inflammation to begin with.

Let’s go over some things you could do to relieve chronic inflammation so that it doesn’t continue to cause problems in your life.

1.)  Remove the Toxins

A big culprit in causing inflammation is toxins. They get into your body in a variety of different ways and wreak havoc. The more toxins you can cut out of your life, the better.  Here are some ways to do this:

  • Avoid chemical cleaners in your home. Choose organic instead.
  • Choose organic and natural bath and body products.
  • Avoid processed foods filled with additives, pesticides, and other chemicals.

There are some toxins that you simply cannot avoid, like those that come from the environment. You can’t keep them away completely, but you can eat detoxifying foods and should be juicing to make sure they don’t stay in your body.

2.)  Lose Weight

Fat cells have a way of storing up toxins and even releasing hormones that simply aggravate inflammation.  If you are overweight, there is no better time to get healthy then right now.  Dropping the pounds means changing to a healthy diet and starting an exercise program. We recommend starting with our 5 Day Juice Detox and then incorporating whole foods while exercising for best results.  This will help with releasing toxins from your body and eliminating cravings.

3.)  Get Rid of Chronic Stress

Stress actually does a lot of damage to your body and can contribute greatly to inflammation. When stress becomes chronic, it does even more damage.  Stress releases cortisol into the body and it affects the body negatively a number of different ways one being weight gain, so it’s a good idea to relieve as much stress as possible. You can do this in a number of ways:

  • Get rid of any responsibilities you don’t need to worry about.
  • Practice meditation to relax the mind. I like yoga.
  • Practice deep breathing when you find yourself stressed out.

4.)  Enjoy an Inflammation Fighting Juice

Juicing can help in many ways, and the right ingredients can actually assist you in fighting inflammation because there are numerous foods that can help extensively.

Try this recipe and drink it regularly to rid your body of inflammation. Let’s juice it up right now!

  • Four celery stalks
  • A half of a cucumber
  • One cup of pineapple
  • One half of a fuji apple
  • One cup of kale leaves
  • One lemon
  • One knob of ginger

Let’s juice!

Depending on your juicer, you may need to chop these ingredients up and then juice everything.  Stir with a spoon and drink immediately. This juice actually helps relieve chronic inflammation in your body due to its high bromelain content and the gingerols within the ginger.

Inflammation causes a lot of damage that you may not even realize. However, with simple changes, you can ensure it doesn’t continue causing you problems. Make sure you are not getting overly stressed, remove toxins from your environment, lose weight, and try an anti-inflammatory juice. All of this can make a big difference.  If you’ve enjoyed the content please share it and leave us a comment below.
