Hack and Juice Recipe to Help Tame Sugar Cravings

Something we have discussed before on Wellness Wednesday was “Making Sense of Food Cravings.” Yet, an excellent question I get a lot is “How do I deal with my sweet cravings?” Welcome Vida Juicers to today’s Wellness Wednesday where we’ll tackle that question directly with a hack and juice recipe that will tame your sugar cravings.

There are a lot of temptations out there with refined sugars. Especially with processed foods, most of the sugars are derivatives of corn. When we eat those processed foods, we give those toxic taste buds a dance party, but this does not contribute to our long-term goals of wellness.

Well there’s this great hack called Glutamine that will help you stop those sugar cravings dead in their tracks. This amino acid has been found to help reduce, and even eliminate, cravings by helping to steady blood sugar. Add 500 milligrams three times a day with meals, juices, and or smoothies and an extra dose when a craving hits. Taking as little as a quarter teaspoon at the onset of a sugar craving should stop it in its tracks. In addition, limes are useful in stopping sugar cravings in their tracks too.
Therefore, the two key ingredients in this Sugar Craving Crusher recipe are Glutamine and Lime.

The ingredients are:
1 large Cucumber, handful of Mint, 3 Stalks Celery, 1 small Lime, and a Dash of Glutamine.

Here’s a recipe that will tame those toxic taste buds! This juice has a great after taste that resonates with your taste buds and very hydrating!

Use this hack to help get your sugar cravings under control!
