Abs That Rock With Hanging Leg Raises

Hello, Vida Juicer, this is Lionel Correia with another episode of “Wellness Wednesday”. In this week’s episode I’m going to teach you about an ab exercise that will help you burn fat and sculpt rock hard abs, so you’ll have that chiseled flat waist line you’ve always wanted.

Hanging leg raises are a little bit more of an advanced exercise, but there are a couple different variations you can do. Hanging from a bar and keeping your arms relaxed you raise your legs up all the way to the bar, so your body is in the shape of a V. Your legs should be as straight as possible in order to really feel the burn. Hold that position for as long as you can. I shoot for 1 minute and aim for 3 – 4 sets. Remember this is more of an advanced exercise, so if you can’t raise your legs all the way up, then simply raise your knees to your stomach and keep them tucked. Hold that position for as long as possible maybe 30 seconds and do 3 – 4 sets. This exercise works all of your abs, but when done correctly there is a strong focus on your lower abdominals. Mix this in with other ab exercises and your everyday workout routine and before you know it you’ll have abs of steel! There are a lot of different ab exercises out there. Try and alter between hanging leg raises and different exercises for best results.

Please keep in mind that we believe in daily actions and hard work in order to achieve the body you want. Although this exercise is awesome, it will only work if you do with a consistent work ethic and an adherence to a strict healthy diet. Staying fit is a mindset and a lifestyle. We are here to help you on your journey should you have any questions. Thanks for watching this video and remember, “Juice Strong to Live Long!”
